 "Cross Words" è un gioco eseguito in uno stile espressivo che utilizza il linguaggio del corpo e la musica come mezzo di comunicazione universale. Lo spettacolo è composto da otto scene e rappresenta il conflitto che nasce quando gli esseri umani interagiscono con le spanerse forze che li circondano, che incidono sulla loro esistenza e sull'umanità intera, a partire da piccoli dettagli quotidiani, che sono rappresentati con un giornale. Le scene si identificano con seguenti i conflitti: Isolamento (perdita di identità) Rinascita (inizio della vita) Comunicazione (relazioni umane) Profezia (la lingua dell'aspettativa) Lo specchio (guardando il mondo da una prospettiva spanersa) Potenza (noi) Pubblico (noi) L'alluvione (Trasformazione dell'oggetto inanimato in un oggetto vivente, la nuova rinascita) "Cross words" – Yarmouk University – Irbid, Jordan "Cross Words" is a play performed in an expressive style that employs body language and music as universal means of communication. The play is composed of eight scenes and it represents the conflict that arises when human beings interact with the different forces surrounding them. Such forces affect their life and the whole humanity, starting from everyday details, which are represented with a newspaper. La compagnia teatrale La Divisione Teatro è stata fondata nel 1981. È una delle quattro spanisioni del Dipartimento di Belle Arti presso l'Università Yarmouk, nonché la prima ad aver introdotto lo studio pratico e teorico del teatro in Giordania. Nel 2001, il Dipartimento di Belle Arti è stato ampliato ed è spanentato il College of Fine Arts. Allo stesso tempo, la spanisione è stata sudspanisa in Arte Teatrale e Cinema&Televisione. Il Dipartimento Teatro propone un corso di laurea in Lettere, e nuovi corsi sono stati progettati per dare agli studenti opportunità pratiche e di ricerca. Il Dipartimento presenta regolarmente produzioni teatrali e produzioni cinematografiche, ed ospita anche una serie di altre produzioni ed eventi speciali. Sin dalla sua istituzione, il Dipartimento Teatro ha avuto un impatto enorme sui movimenti artistici in Giordania e in vari paesi arabi, ed è orgoglioso del suo ruolo nel fornire al paese giovani generazioni di artisti professionisti. Molti di loro sono spanentati artisti famosi in Giordania e nei paesi arabi. Gli studenti che si sono laureati in questo Dipartimento contribuiscono alla forme d'arte del teatro, del cinema e della televisione in Giordania e all'estero. The University Theatre Company The Theatre Division was established in 1981. It is one of the four spanisions of the Department of Fine Arts at the Yarmouk University, as well as the first institution to introduce the practical and theoretical study of theatre in Jordan. In 2001, the Department of Fine Arts was expanded and became the College of Fine Arts. At the same time, the Theatre Division was spanided in two separate spanisions: Theatre Arts and Cinema&Television. The Drama Department offers a Bachelor of Arts and new courses have been designed to give students research and practice opportunities. The Faculty members participate in the department productions, serving as directors, designers, vocal coaches, and providing any other specialized support role. In addition to attending regular classes, students are full-time participants to the Department productions, working under the guidance of the faculty staff. Students can be directors, actors, designers, technicians, stage managers, and they can have a variety of other roles. The Department stages regular theatrical and cinema productions, and it also hosts a number of other productions and special events. Since its establishment, the Drama Department had a tremendous impact on the artistic movements in Jordan and the Arab countries, and it is proud of its role in providing Jordan with young generation of professional artists. Many of them have become famous stars in Jordan and Arab countries. Students who graduated from this Department have also contributed to many forms of art: theatre, cinema and television at national and international level. |
